The “limited-engagement pop-up bar” will transform 711 Main Street into scenes from the Harry Potter universe. It is one of the few pop-up events marketed toward millennials that have emerged since the pandemic began earlier this year, one of the most recent being a socially distanced pop-up 3D art gallery in Uptown.
For Holloway, The Muggle-less Bar is going to be the third pop-up event she has created. Past themes included Chicago’s House of Beetle and last winter’s Santa’s Tavern in Houston. As a life-long Harry Potter fan, Holloway is now determined to bring her love to life for the enjoyment of everyone.
“Being able to sit on a recreated set of the movie is something better than having house parties or an average meetup group,” said Holloway.
